Victoria and NSW have now committed to the introduction of energy efficiency targets to start operating from 1 January 2009. This presentation will outline how these will work - explain their differences in approach and application and consider the technologies covered and abatement expected. The presentation will also assess the implications that these targets will have on the development of the energy efficiency industry and consider how these will compliment the carbon trading scheme and other government policies.
